The seas of Rausu are a great place for scuba diving too!
See young fish and appreciate new life in spring or see righteye flounder, Japanese fluvial sculpin and Bering wolffish swimming in summer.
The ocean floor is also covered with seaweed, earning Rausu the name Kelp Forest - it's a truly amazing sight!
In autumn you can come face to face with the returning salmon and trout.
But the best of all is winter. Swim under the drift ice and you might see cliones.
